Great skiing and off-piste adventures, all conveniently accessible by ski bus – winter here with us is particularly appealing for families with children.
And there’s always the opportunity to enjoy some mulled cider or tea when you get cold or wish to take a break from skiing.
The Höss ski area is justly popular with families as it caters for all grades of skiers, offering everything from easy runs to more challenging terrain. The ski area also has a nursery area, the Sunny Kids Park, which is exclusively designed for children to make their first shuffles on the slopes. The ski area can be easily accessed as the ski bus stops right in front of our door.
In Hinterstoder there is also a ski school that provides you with ski guides for off-piste adventures or quality lessons to master the basics on the skis or on the snowboard. Of course you will also find well-groomed cross-country skiing tracks. If you are looking for non-ski winter fun, there are cleared trails for good winter walking, tobogganing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and alpine ice curling. Or, why not build a snow man?
VORDERSTODER
is a charming friendly little place (800 inhabitants) surrounded by the beautiful Priel and Sensengebirge mountains – a village where people still live in balance with nature. In summer the area offers hiking for all abilities: from leisurely strolls and mountain rambles to challenging climbing tours.
