Day 1: Arrival
Day 2: grand city tour
Visit of the palaces Schönbrunn and Belvedere.
Our tip: Lunch at the "Augustinerkeller", a cozy restaurant in Old Viennese style. CITY WALK with professional guidance through the oldest parts of Vienna, hidden courtyards, romantic spots and beautiful stories. Our tip: Visit the world-famous Imperial Treasury.
Day 3: SHOPPING
Our tip: Have a coffee at the K&K imperial confectionery shop Demel, enjoy the famous Sacher cake or the excellent Viennese apple strudel in a romantic atmosphere.
Highlight: a J. STRAUSS - MOZART CONCERT at the festive hall of the imperial residence ("Hofburg").
An unforgettable experience.
Day 4: HIKE or relaxing day in Gablitz, a summer recreation town, Troppberg (540m) with lookout point; continue to Rabenstein, place of discovery of an ancient Roman tomb stone. The Austrian empress "Sisi" also stopped here, a memorial stone dating May 30, 1891, is still to be seen.
Our tip: Visit of the charterhouse Mauerbach.
Day 5: VIENNA WOODS TOUR through the southern part of the woods, with a visit to the famous abbey Heiligenkreuz, afterwards visit of Mayerling with the hunting castle of the crown price Rudolf and the lake grotto in Hinterbrühl with a boat trip 14 m below the earth; continue through the Helenen valley into the Biedermeier town of Baden, it was here where Johann Strauss played for the cure visitors of the town.
